OlioBay Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of OlioBay (the “Service”), operated by Wiserdusk. By creating an account or using OlioBay as a buyer or seller, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. What OlioBay is (and is not)

OlioBay is a deal discovery / notice-board platform. Sellers may post their best offers; buyers may browse, save, follow sellers, and open linked marketplace or seller pages.

OlioBay does not process payments for deals.
OlioBay is not the merchant of record for third-party products.
Purchases usually happen on Amazon, Flipkart, a seller site, or another linked channel unless clearly stated otherwise.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract. Sellers must be authorised to represent the organisation they register and must provide accurate GST / registration details where required.

3. Accounts

Keep your login credentials confidential.
Provide accurate profile information (name, email, phone, city, and seller organisation fields).
You are responsible for activity under your account.
You may delete your account anytime — see Delete your account.

4. Buyer rules

Verify price, stock, delivery, and bank-offer conditions on the seller / marketplace page before buying.
Do not misuse follows, ratings, saves, or reports.
Ratings should reflect genuine experience with a merchant.
OlioBay does not guarantee that a listed deal will still be available when you click through.

5. Seller rules

Post only your genuine best offer for that listing cycle — not a catalog of ordinary discounts.
Provide truthful pricing, MRP, highlights, and platform perk text.
Honour advertised offers and disclose material conditions (EMI, bank cards, limited stock).
Do not post illegal, counterfeit, misleading, or prohibited goods/services.
Wiserdusk may remove, hide, or refuse listings that harm trust or violate law / these Terms.

6. Content licence

You grant Wiserdusk a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display, and distribute content you submit (deal text, images, organisation name) for operating and promoting OlioBay. You represent you own or have rights to that content.

7. Third-party links and offers

Links to Amazon, Flipkart, BookMyShow, and other platforms are provided for convenience. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices. Bank offers, SuperCoins, EMI, and grocery vouchers mentioned in deal cards are set by sellers / platforms — not guaranteed by Wiserdusk.

8. Intellectual property

OlioBay branding, UI, and Wiserdusk trademarks remain property of Wiserdusk. You may not copy, scrape, or reverse engineer the Service except as allowed by law.

9. Prohibited conduct

Fraud, fake deals, fake reviews, or impersonation
Harassment, spam, or abuse of other users
Attempts to bypass security or overload systems
Uploading malware or illegal content

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create legal risk, or harm other users. You may stop using OlioBay and delete your account at any time.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is”. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, error-free listings, or that any third-party deal will complete successfully. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wiserdusk is not liable for purchase disputes, delivery failures, refunds, or product quality on third-party platforms.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wiserdusk’s total liability arising from your use of OlioBay shall not exceed the greater of (a) fees you paid to Wiserdusk for OlioBay in the prior 3 months (if any), or (b) INR 1,000.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Wiserdusk against claims arising from your content, your deals, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
