OlioBay Terms of Service

By creating an account — after ticking the two separate boxes for (1) Privacy Policy and Terms and (2) confirmation that you are 18 or older — or by using OlioBay as a buyer or seller, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We do not accept a single “I agree” line as consent.

1. What OlioBay is (and is not)

• Sellers post their single best offer; buyers browse, save, follow, and open linked store pages.
• OlioBay does not process payments or act as merchant of record.
• Purchases happen on Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, a seller WhatsApp/shop link, or another destination you tap.
• Upcoming deals cannot be claimed until they go live. A countdown is shown when a listing is not live yet.
• The Android app is free and may show Google AdMob ads (app-open and occasional full-screen). Ads are not the same as deals on the notice board. Do not click ads on behalf of others or try to inflate impressions.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old. You confirm this with a separate unticked checkbox at sign-up. Sellers must be authorised to represent the shop they register and must provide accurate organisation details where asked.

3. Accounts

• Keep login credentials confidential. Google Sign-In is optional.
• Provide accurate name, email, phone, city, and seller fields. GST / MSME / CIN checks are format checks — not a government verification badge.
• You may delete your account anytime — Delete your account.

4. Buyer rules

• Verify price, stock, delivery, and bank-offer conditions on the store page before paying.
• Do not fake follows, ratings, or reports.
• OlioBay does not guarantee a deal will still be available when you click through.

5. Seller rules

• Post a genuine best offer — not spam catalogs or invented ratings.
• Prices and store links must be accurate. Link paste may suggest title/price only — you must add your own authorised photos and check the card before posting.
• Do not post illegal, counterfeit, adult, or misleading goods.
• Wiserdusk may hide or remove listings that harm trust or break the law.

6. User content licence and photos

You grant Wiserdusk a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host and display content you submit (deal text, images, shop name) to operate OlioBay. You represent you have the rights to that content.

Pasting Amazon, Flipkart, or other store product links may auto-fill title and price hints from public pages. OlioBay does not copy or republish third-party marketplace product images into your card — add your own https photo links or images you are authorised to use. Misuse of trademarks or copyrighted catalog photos is your responsibility.

7. Third-party stores

Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, Zepto, Swiggy, BookMyShow, MakeMyTrip and similar brands belong to their owners. OlioBay is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. Their checkout, refunds, and privacy policies apply after you leave OlioBay.

8. Prohibited conduct

• Fraud, fake deals, fake reviews, impersonation
• Harassment, spam, malware, or scraping the Service
• Content that is illegal in India

9. Suspension

We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or create legal risk. You may stop using OlioBay and delete your account at any time.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that third-party deals will complete. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wiserdusk is not liable for purchase disputes, delivery, refunds, or product quality on third-party platforms. Total liability shall not exceed the greater of fees you paid Wiserdusk for OlioBay in the prior 3 months (if any) or INR 1,000.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Wiserdusk against claims arising from your listings, your content, or your misuse of the Service.

12. Intermediary rules (India) and grievance redressal

OlioBay hosts user-generated listings as an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

• Grievance Officer: Wiserdusk — contact@wiserdusk.com (same contact for DPDP grievances).
• In-app: Report and Block seller on each deal card; blocking hides that seller on your device.
• Timelines: we aim to acknowledge grievances within 24 hours and resolve or explain within 15 days (or as required by law).
• Illegal content: we may remove or disable access to content that violates Indian law or these Terms, including on notice from authorities or rights holders.

13. Governing law

Laws of India. Courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
