Hisaabio Privacy Policy

Hisaabio is a record-keeping and reminder app by Wiserdusk. Users document informal money agreements, repayment notes, reminders, optional PDF summaries, and in-app trust indicators (such as the Hisaabio score and member-since date).

Hisaabio is not a bank, lender, non-bank financial company, digital lending app, payment processor, or credit bureau. We do not send, receive, or hold money.

Data We Collect

Account information

• Name, email address
• Optional phone and address (if you add them to your profile)
• Account creation and activity timestamps as stored in our systems

Invite directory

• Your email address and display name, so another signed-in user can invite you by email. We do not publish a public list of all users.

Agreement data

• Names and contact identifiers you enter (for example email)
• Amounts, interest settings you choose, due dates, repayment type, and related notes
• Payment records (amount, date, status such as pending, confirmed, or disputed)
• Reminder and timeline / change-history events generated inside the app

Device and notifications

• Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens so we can deliver push notifications you expect
• Diagnostic information needed to operate the app

Advertising

• Advertising identifiers and related ad event data through Google AdMob

Reports you submit

• If you report an agreement, we store your user ID, the agreement ID, and a reason

Exports you choose to share

When you use “Share history”, we build a PDF on your device from your existing data. We do not need to store that PDF on our servers for you to use share features.

How We Use Data

• Create and authenticate accounts
• Store, sync, and display agreements and repayment records
• Let another user invite you by the email on your account
• Send notifications related to reminders and in-app events
• Show advertisements
• Review abuse reports, maintain security, and improve reliability

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use agreement records to issue credit, underwrite loans, or report to a credit bureau.

How We Share Data

We may process data through trusted service providers:

• Google Firebase — authentication, cloud database, cloud messaging
• Google AdMob — advertising

These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies in addition to this policy. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users and the service.

Legal Bases (where applicable)

Depending on your region, we rely on one or more of: performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent (where required), and legal obligation.

Data Retention

We retain account and agreement data while your account is active so the service can function.

When you delete your account, we remove or anonymize profile data where feasible and remove your email from the invite directory. Some information may be retained for a limited time for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, backup cycles, or dispute handling.

Security

We use authenticated access rules for cloud data. Phone and address on your profile are visible only to you. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Age

Hisaabio is for users 18 years or older only. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

DPDP & GDPR

Where India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP) or the EU GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your personal data at contact@wiserdusk.com (within 30 days where required).

Your Choices and Rights

You can update many profile fields in the app and turn off push notifications in Profile.

Account deletion: In the app go to Profile → Account & Security → Delete Account, or see Delete your Hisaabio account.
