EduDusk (“Duskad”) is operated by Wiserdusk. This policy explains how we handle personal data under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP) and, where applicable, the EU GDPR.
We collect information you type when creating a local account (name, email, and a salted password hash kept in the browser), plus community posts you submit and usage data. Analytics cookies load only after you consent via our cookie banner.
Your information is used to provide courses and community features, communicate with you, prevent abuse, and improve EduDusk.
EduDusk community sign-in is stored in your browser on this device (local storage), not on a Wiserdusk server. The password is stored only as a slow salted hash, never in plain text. Clearing site data deletes that local account. Course pages you open may still load from the website host. Do not reuse a banking password here.
We use cookies for session management and, with your consent, Google Analytics. You can decline non-essential cookies via the banner on first visit.
Wiserdusk is the Data Fiduciary. Account creation uses two separate, unticked boxes (Privacy & Terms, and 18+) — not a single “I agree” line. You may request access, correction, export, or deletion. Delete your account in profile settings or follow Delete your EduDusk account. Contact contact@wiserdusk.com (typically 30 days). Specified cyber incidents are reported to CERT-In within 6 hours.
