WiserDeed is a mindful giving platform that helps you choose monthly good deeds with verified NGOs, track puniya points, and view your impact. This policy covers our Android app and related web pages.

1. Data we collect

• Account: name, email, phone (optional), password (hashed)
• Profile & preferences: location, selected causes, onboarding choices
• Giving activity: monthly task selections, deed progress, puniya points, impact summaries, and deed history
• Usage: device type, app version, crash diagnostics

2. How we use data

• Personalise monthly giving tasks and show relevant NGO-linked deeds
• Track progress, history, and impact dashboards inside the app
• Operate accounts, support, security, and legal compliance

We do not sell personal data. Giving activity is not used for advertising.

3. Sharing

We use cloud hosting and email providers under contract. We may share data if required by law or to protect rights and safety. WiserDeed does not process NGO donations directly — any payment or volunteering happens outside the app with the NGO you choose.

4. Retention & deletion

Data is kept while your account is active. After account deletion, personal data and giving history are removed within 90 days, except where law requires longer retention. See Delete your account.

5. Your rights (DPDP Act 2023 & DPDP Rules 2025)

Wiserdusk is the Data Fiduciary. Sign-up uses two separate, unticked boxes (Privacy & Terms, and 18+) — not a single “I agree” line. Request access, correction, export, or deletion at contact@wiserdusk.com (typically 30 days). Specified cyber incidents are reported to CERT-In within 6 hours.

6. Age

WiserDeed is for users 18 years or older only.

7. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls. You are responsible for keeping login credentials secure.
