Dragplay — Privacy Policy

Wiser Dusk (“we”, “us”) provides the mobile application Dragplay (the “App”) for Android. The App includes Classic Mode (hex board), Power Mode (square grid with character teams and strength-based pushes), Vs PC, and Vs Person (local two-player). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use any of these features.

1. Information we do not collect directly

• The App does not require you to create an account.
• We do not operate our own login system or user database for the App.
• We do not intentionally collect your name, email address, or phone number through the App for our own use.
• We do not receive your in-game moves, match results, character teams, or unlock progress from Power Mode or Classic Mode on our servers — that information stays on your device as described below.

2. Information stored on your device

The App stores game-related settings and progress locally on your device using Android local storage (for example, shared preferences). This may include:

• General settings: sound/mute preferences, onboarding and tutorial state, and similar UI choices.
• Classic Mode: win counts used to unlock marble colours and board themes; your selected marble and board themes.
• Power Mode: Power Mode win counts used to unlock stronger characters for your team and for the Vs PC opponent; progress shown on the in-app Progress screen. Character strength ratings and team composition during a match are processed on-device only.
• Vs PC: daily hint usage (including optional bonus hints from rewarded ads), turn-timer gameplay state during an active session, and AI difficulty progression tied to your local Power Mode unlocks.
• Vs Person: match state during play on the same device; no data is sent to us.

This data stays on the device unless you remove the App or clear the App’s data, unless your device or operating system syncs or backs it up according to your settings. We do not operate a cloud save or cross-device sync service for Dragplay.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App uses Google AdMob to show advertisements, including rewarded ads (for example, optional bonus hints in Vs PC) and interstitial ads at natural breaks between matches. Watching ads is optional where the App offers a choice.

When ads are shown, Google may collect and process information in line with Google’s own policies, which can include, for example:

• Device and app-related identifiers
• IP address (which may be used to infer general location)
• Ad interaction and delivery data

Depending on your region and your device settings, ads may be personalized or non-personalized, and Google may use technologies such as advertising IDs as permitted by Google and applicable law.

4. Network access

The App may use the internet connection on your device to load ads, receive ad content, and communicate with Google’s services. Core gameplay in Classic Mode, Power Mode, and Vs Person does not require a network connection. Features that rely on ads require connectivity when those features are used.

5. Permissions

The App is designed to avoid unnecessary sensitive permissions. It uses network access as needed for ads and related services, consistent with the platform (for example, Android’s INTERNET permission where applicable). It does not require access to your contacts, camera, or microphone for core gameplay as described in this policy.

6. Children’s privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age where parental consent is required in your region without appropriate consent. If you believe we have inadvertently processed information in a way that concerns you, please contact us (see below).

7. Your choices

• You can limit ad personalization through your device settings (for example, advertising ID controls on Android) and through choices offered by Google where available in your region.
• You may stop use of ad-supported features by not choosing options that show ads, where applicable.
• You may reset local progress (including Power Mode unlocks and Classic themes) by clearing the App’s data in Android settings or by uninstalling the App.
• You may uninstall the App at any time.

8. International users

If you use the App outside your home country, information processed by Google in connection with ads may be handled in countries where Google or its subprocessors operate, as described in Google’s policies. We do not transfer your local game progress to our own servers.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time (for example, when we add or change game modes such as Power Mode). The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
